Privacy Policy for Smart Ringer

Smart Ringer (“the App”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is developed by Joseph Anderson. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles user information.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Data: The App does not collect, store, or share personally identifiable information such as your name, email, phone number, or contacts.
Device Permissions:
- Exact alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM) – used to schedule ringer/vibrate changes at user-specified times.
- Notification policy access (ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY) – optional, allows the App to adjust Do Not Disturb mode if the user chooses.
- Boot permission (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) – allows re-scheduling alarms after a device restart.
Advertising Data: The App integrates Google AdMob (or your chosen ad provider). Ad networks may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads in accordance with their own privacy policies.

To execute the App’s core function: automatically switching your phone’s sound profile to vibrate/silent/normal at chosen times.
To display advertising that supports the free version of the App.

The App uses third-party SDKs, including but not limited to:

These services may collect information automatically as described in their own policies.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Limited data may be shared automatically with advertising partners as described above.

We do not store personal data on our servers. All alarm and schedule settings are stored locally on your device.

The App is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date.
